Now before everyone jumps to conclusions this is a repost I sent to my sister, who you can see is having some difficulty with the religious war in the Middle East. And you can change Christ and Christianity back to, Muslim and Islam to understand the full context of the post and some insight on how far this middle eastern society cultural identity clash has come.

“Something I Really don’t understand is;
Why there is so many hateful lies about Christ and Christianity???”
Christ said, Love God and worship only him and love your neighbor as I have loved you. In these two laws sums up all the laws and commandments of God.
If anyone would not love their neighbor, the poor, the homeless, the elderly, their enemy…they do not love me.
Does it say anywhere we are to kill those who don’t believe as we do? Or live or think as we? It does not. Sin is Sin no matter who does it.
It does not say we are to bare the neck for the blade. If we have innocent souls we are entrusted with, we have an obligation to protect them as best we can with any means to stop the attack. Both spiritual, legal, and physical.
Here in lies the rub, the one who is the aggressor always finds fault with the one who stands up against them.
Be not the aggressor yet do not let your last act be in violence. Rather let it be in kindness and love.
It’s about each individual taking responsibility to act first in love, and as a whole create a community of respect and peace and love.
You are loved in all your special ways my sister.
Don’t listen to the hate. Down that path leads only to eternal death. Sometimes it is better to surrender your life to God, as a martyr, than to succumb to hate and the prophecies of hate and violence.

I believe this applies just as equally to us here in our quasi safe society. Brothers and Sisters we have only one law, that if we follow it we will abide by every commandment God has laid down for our salvation. His law of Love.
It is the hardest thing you’ll ever do, you’ll need more prayer time than there is hours in the day!!!
