My son and I were out driving earlier and he said the other day a lady at a QT asked about his Christian Riders Ministry vest and one of the questions she asked was if it was also a church and part of the question was because her and her husband had both been in prison and the churches they had attended were not very welcoming when that part of their past came up.
That is a sad thing to hear because Christ would have welcomed them.

For many years I refused to call myself a christian because of the many "Christians" that I find representing themselves as such.
There is too much of my version is better than yours, when in reality the first Christian's wouldn't recognize most of us as christians.
There were several versions back then as well.
One of the prevailing commandments of Christ was regarding LOVE. We need to be more loving, we all have things in our past that would make us unlovable to many christians but Christ would enfold us in his arms and invite us into his heavenly kingdom.
