Today we honor the women whose love has reflected the heart of God in quiet, faithful, and powerful ways. A mother’s love often shows up in sacrifice, prayer, patience, correction, protection, and encouragement. It is a love that keeps giving, even when no one sees the cost.

A mother’s love often shows up in sacrifice, prayer, patience, correction, protection, and encouragement. It is a love that keeps giving, even when no one sees the cost.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise and call her blessed.”
Today, we call mothers blessed. We thank God for biological mothers, spiritual mothers, grandmothers, aunties, mentors, and every woman who has nurtured, guided, prayed, and loved with grace.
We also hold space for those for whom this day is tender: those grieving a mother, longing to become a mother, healing from difficult relationships, or carrying silent pain. May the God of all comfort meet each heart with compassion today.
Motherhood is one of the ways God teaches us about unconditional love. Through a mother’s care, we see glimpses of God’s mercy. Through her prayers, we see faith in action. Through her strength, we see grace under pressure.
So today, we give thanks. We honor the women who have poured into us, covered us, corrected us, and believed in us. May God refresh them, bless them, and remind them that their labor of love has not been in vain.
Happy Mother’s Day, and may every mother feel seen, valued, and deeply loved today.
