Every year, millions of people tune in to watch one of God's most incredible creations—the great white shark. Powerful. Intelligent. Beautiful. A creature that commands both awe and respect.
As Christians, we don't simply marvel at sharks because they are apex predators. We marvel because they proclaim the glory of their Creator. Every great white that swims the oceans is a reminder of the creativity, wisdom, and power of Almighty God.

As Christians, we don't simply marvel at sharks because they are apex predators. We marvel because they proclaim the glory of their Creator. Every great white that swims the oceans is a reminder of the creativity, wisdom, and power of Almighty God.
The book of Job reminds us of God's sovereignty through descriptions of magnificent creatures like Behemoth and Leviathan, demonstrating that even the mightiest beings in creation are under His authority. The great white shark likewise reminds us that God's creation is vast, powerful, and beyond our complete understanding.
Sharks deserve our respect—not because they are evil or monsters, but because they are remarkable animals designed by God to fulfill their purpose in His creation.
It's only natural to feel a sense of fear or uneasiness when looking into the eyes of a great white shark. They remind us just how small and vulnerable we can be. But perhaps that's exactly why they're such a powerful illustration. Fear itself isn't the enemy.
God never promised His people a life without fear. He never said we would avoid deep waters, fierce storms, or dangerous circumstances. Instead, He promised that He would be with us through them.
Life will bring moments that feel like you're surrounded by sharks, standing at the edge of the unknown, or sinking into waters deeper than you ever imagined. In those moments, faith doesn't pretend the danger isn't real. Faith chooses to trust that God is greater than whatever we fear.

As Modern Templars, we are called to step forward with courage—not because we are fearless, but because our confidence is in Christ. The same God who created the oceans, the great white shark, Behemoth, and Leviathan is the God who walks beside us through every trial.
May we face every challenge with courage, every uncertainty with hope, and every fear with unwavering trust in our Lord.
