I recently have an instance with a friend who is hurt by another; they don't know if it is something to get past. I simply reminded them of casting out those negative thoughts and praying for the peace Christ can grant in order for them to forgive the other and hopefully find forgiveness even if it means to walk away. Let's remember to forgive and keep moving forward to our Lord and his path he has for us.

John 15:12 "My command is this; Love each other as I have loved you."
Simple as that right? Even as much as our desire is to do just what Jesus has commanded. I know, for me at least, that sometimes it it is hard. Some days it seems that people are just there to tear you down, to push those buttons, but guess what? IT'S the ENEMY!!!

Matthew 6:25-27 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in their barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"

These versus ring in my head a lot; I find myself in those moments of fret that God lays them on my heart and AGAIN and again I am reminded how I valued and loved I am by our Father, Highest King, and Friend. I hope that if you needed this reminder also today that your heart is lightened and your spirit is fueled.

One of my favorite sayings and reminders is “Jesus never said you wouldn’t go through storms; HE just said your boat wouldn’t sink.”
As I know how heavy our hearts are with the state of this world, Let’s remember to weather these storms, relying on God and keeping our eyes on HIm and HIS example.
