Imagine if you would a world covered in dense and dark forests as far as the eye can see. In many places this forest is so thick the boughs of the trees choke out the very sun, and mists and fog may hinder your sight but alas that is the life many people live in these woods, and have done so for many generations. However somewhere in the woods is a great walled kingdom one that prospers and glows with golden lights. Many do not know of this kingdom, some do, others speak of it as legends. However this city is real and it welcomes all even if the denizens of the dark wood do not know it. Those who are born within the walls of the great kingdom are a kind and loving people but sometimes they do not understand the ones trapped in the woods. Why would anyone want to dwell in such a dark place where beasts hunt you and others take what they can. Some reach out, others try what they can and every now and then someone comes to the great gate. They are welcomed in with trumpets and shouts of glory. The king himself is overjoyed to have them, he welcomes them himself with love. Sometimes the people who find the city look out over the parapets and see the Darkwood and they are so glad they made it out. What we should always remember though and be thankful for are those who are both born of the great city, and those who came from the Forest that see the dark woods and know that so many can not hope to find the kingdom in the dark. These few precious people do what many cant fathom they dawn an armor that the kingdoms people seldom needed they arm themselves with what they need and most importantly they take with them a light. a simple lantern for which to search the dark wood. For with that lantern shines the light of the kingdom and using it these paladins of the kingdom have but one goal. Help those who suffer in the Darkwood to find the Kingdom and offer to all those who will listen directions and guidance so that they too can one day know the peace of their great king.
I hope you enjoyed the impromptu short story friends its an analogy I've told only once before to a close friend. As some one who was once a dweller in the Dark wood I am thankful for the lantern bearers and happy to try my best to be one myself! May god always let his light shine from within you that others may find their way in the dark!
