A quick note to everybody: Many of us are denizens of Face Book. It is how many of us were first introduced to social media. It is how we keep in touch with friends and family because it is so ubiquitous and easy to use.
However, we who are members of this Order should remember that we emphasize using Belief Book. That is the official social media for our brotherhood/sisterhood. It is not that we must leave Face Book altogether, after all it has other uses outside the Order.

The Order uses Face Book merely as an alternate communication to pass on important information because it is convenient and many members are on it. When we communicate with our brothers and sisters, we must remember that not all members are on Face Book, so they will miss out on what is posted there. That is why it is so much better to post it on Belief Book, so everybody can see it!
When we post in the OMSDT Facebook chat, not even all members of the chat will see it. Everything posted in the chat will soon “disappear” as other people post and it gets buried in the threads!
As Grand Marshal, I recommend we keep our Facebook channels “open” for short, pithy, posts that direct us all back to our real means of sharing for our Order; Belief Book. If it is worth sharing, it is worth sharing here!
