Is there any wisdom apart from God? Is He the only source of wisdom?
True wisdom comes from God. Although God may use other resources; such as the world He created or other people; to provide you with His wisdom, be careful to evaluate these other sources. While they may seem insightful or able to offer good advice at times, screen everything against the wise words of God recorded in the Bible. When you read the truth every day, you will get better at discerning the lies of the evil one.
"By wisdom the LORD founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens." - Proverbs 3-19
If you are criticized, remain calm and don't lash back. Evaluate whether the criticism is coming from a person with a reputation for wisdom and integrity. Ask yourself if the criticism is meant to heal or hurt. Is the criticism just and true? Maintain a clear conscience by being honest and trustworthy. This allows you to shrug off criticism that you know is unjustified. If criticism is justified, however, you are wise to listen and learn.

The purpose of evil is to defy God and to wear down believers (and pretty creative at that) This pleases Satan and gives rages in the spiritual realm and, as a believer, you are right in the thick of it. God is always ready to fight on your behalf, always ready to come to your defense. In addition, He provides you with armor so that you can fight alongside Him (Ephesians 6:11-18). But you must join God in the battle or you will be vulnerable and helpless to withstand the enemy. If you join, you are guaranteed victory.
"This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's." - 2 Chronicles 20:15
Spiritual Warfare: The Bible clearly teaches that human beings are involved in a spiritual battle. Far from excluding you from this spiritual battle, faith puts you right in the middle of it. You are in a battle for your soul. You must recognize that and arm yourself, or you will be defeated.
