I was a fitness trainer from 2013–2026, and I wanted to share a simple approach to training with you: the ancient Greek Tetrad, a repeating four-day cycle that balances effort with recovery.

⚔️ Day 1 — Prepare: Short, brisk exercises to ready the body without exhausting it.

The cross I wear carries the inscription:

SIGILLVM MILITVM XPISTI

This is medieval Latin for “Sigillum Militum Christi”. “The Seal of the Soldiers of Christ,” or “The Seal of the Knights of Christ.”

The spelling reflects medieval conventions: V was commonly used for U, while XP comes from the Greek Chi-Rho (ΧΡ), an ancient abbreviation for Christos , Christ.
