The law of the Spirit and life is based on what Jesus the Messiah, our great liberator, did for us. The law of sin and death no longer controls us. Because Jesus rose from the dead, death no longer has power over us. Sin has no power over us because Jesus' death on the cross paid off our debt to sin. We stand in front of God as His righteous children who are finally free because of what our powerful Lord Jesus Christ has done. In the future, there is no condemnation for us, only glory!
Prayer: Thank you, All-Powerful God, for Your plan to free me from sin and death by paying my ransom. Thank you for the confidence I have in You because of the way Jesus showed me Your unmatched grace. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
