The entire Bible is inspired by God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17, KJV). Every book of Scripture deserves careful study. However, believers should also give close attention to the writings of the Apostle Paul because God entrusted him with a unique ministry to the Gentiles and revealed through him important truths concerning the Church, the Body of Christ.
This does not diminish the teachings of Jesus, the Old Testament prophets, or the other apostles. Rather, it recognizes the unique role God assigned to Paul in revealing and explaining many foundational doctrines for the Church.
