WE SPEND OUR LIVES BUILDING EARTHLY MANSIONS… BUT ARE WE PREPARING FOR THE ONE JESUS HAS ALREADY PREPARED?

People spend years chasing wealth, buying land, constructing beautiful houses, and decorating them with the finest things. Yet one question remains:
What happens when this life is over?
The house you build on earth will one day belong to someone else. But the mansion Jesus is preparing is eternal. It will never decay, never be sold, never be abandoned, and never be taken away.
The Bible reminds us:
“For here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” Hebrews 13:14
Long before Jesus spoke of the Father’s house, God had already promised an everlasting home for His people:
“Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful habitation, an immovable tent that shall not be taken down.” Isaiah 33:20
And Abraham understood this hope:
“He was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” Hebrews 11:10
Our greatest investment is not the size of our house, but the condition of our hearts.
Jesus warned:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth… but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” Matthew 6:19–20
One day, every earthly building will fade away. But God’s promise remains:
“He who overcomes… I will write on him the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem.” Revelation 3:12
Ask yourself:
• If Jesus came today, would you be ready for the mansion He has prepared?
• Are you building only for this life, or also for eternity?
• Which home are you investing in the most your earthly house or your heavenly one?
• Will your name be found in the Book of Life? (Revelation 20:15)
No mansion on earth can compare with the glory of the home Christ has prepared for those who love Him.
Live for eternity. Walk with Christ. Keep your eyes on heaven.
“Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20
