Sin entered the world through Satanβs rebellion. Jesus called the devil βa murderer from the beginningβ and βthe father of lies.β John 8:44
And the Bible tells us that Satan is the one who deceives people into sin.
β οΈ God does not judge sin because He hates people. He judges sin because He is righteous.
Sin has consequences.
π Romans 6:23:
βFor the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.β
If God ignored murder, hatred, corruption, lying, and injustice, He would not be a righteous Judge.
π Psalm 7:11:
βGod is a righteous judge.β
God sees what nobody else sees hidden sin, secret struggles, and private actions.
You may hide it from people, but you cannot hide it from God.
π Numbers 32:23:
βBe sure your sin will find you out.β
BUT HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS! β€οΈβπ₯
God gives people an opportunity to repent.
He is patient and does not immediately destroy sinners.
π 2 Peter 3:9 says God is:
βnot willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.β
That means if you are still alive, you still have time to turn back to God.
π 1 John 1:9:
βIf we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive usβ¦β
Jesus came because sin is deadly.
π Matthew 1:21:
βHe shall save his people from their sins.β
π Romans 3:23:
βFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.β
The real question is:
π₯ Are you fighting your sin or defending it?
π₯ Are you repenting or ignoring it?
One day, everyone will stand before God.
π 2 Corinthians 5:10:
βFor we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.β
No money, status, or influence can save you.
Only Jesus Christ.
β€οΈ Godβs judgment is real. Godβs mercy is real. And His invitation to repent is still open.
So ask yourself:
βLord, is there anything in me I need to repent of?β
π Psalm 139:23β24:
βSearch me, O God, and know my heartβ¦β
π₯ DONβT WAIT UNTIL JUDGMENT DAY.
Repent. Turn to Christ. Walk with God.
Because the same God who judges sin is the One who died to save sinners.
What do you believe should God judge sin, or ignore it? Tell me in the comments.
