The blood of Jesus is not ordinary blood. It is the price of our redemption, the evidence of our salvation, and the foundation of our victory.

1. THE BLOOD OF SPRINKLING
In Exodus 12:24, Israel was commanded to observe the ordinance concerning the Passover. The blood was applied as God instructed, and it became a sign of protection.
The Bible also speaks of “the blood of sprinkling.”
“Ye are come… to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:22–24
Abel’s blood cried from the ground for justice, but the blood of Jesus speaks mercy, forgiveness, redemption, reconciliation, and a better covenant!
You may have a past that is speaking against you, but the blood of Jesus speaks better things!
The blood of sprinkling declares:
“This one is forgiven!”
“This one is redeemed!”
“This one belongs to God!”
2. THE BLOOD WE PARTAKE OF IN COMMUNION
Jesus said:
“Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. John 6:53
When we partake in communion, we are remembering and proclaiming the sacrifice of Christ and our participation in the benefits of His covenant.
Jesus said:
“This cup is the new testament in my blood. Luke 22:20
His blood established a new covenant.
Through His blood, we are brought near to God.
“Ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13
3. THE BLOOD THAT CLEANSES US
The blood of Jesus deals with the greatest problem of humanity: sin.
“The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
You cannot wash yourself clean by good works. You cannot buy forgiveness with money. You cannot erase sin by human effort.
But the blood of Jesus cleanses!
“Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Revelation 1:5
That means your guilt can be removed. Your past can be forgiven. Your conscience can be purified.
4. WE WERE BOUGHT BY THE BLOOD
You are not cheap. Your salvation came at a price.
“Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold… But with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18–19
You were ransomed by the blood.
You were purchased by the blood.
You were saved through the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ.
5. THE BLOOD AND OUR VICTORY
The Bible says:
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” — Revelation 12:11
Our confidence in spiritual warfare is not in magical words or rituals. Our victory is rooted in what Jesus Christ has already accomplished through His death and resurrection.
When we plead the blood of Jesus, we are declaring our faith in His finished work:
His blood forgives.
His blood cleanses.
His blood redeems.
His blood reconciles us to God.
His blood gives us victory through Christ.

I AM REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
I AM FORGIVEN BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

I BELONG TO JESUS, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN BOUGHT WITH A PRICE!
MY FAITH IS IN THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST!
BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, I OVERCOME!

WHAT DOES THE BLOOD OF JESUS MEAN TO YOU FORGIVENESS, REDEMPTION, CLEANSING, OR VICT
WHEN DEATH SAW THE BLOOD, IT HAD TO PASS OVER. WHEN HELL HEARS THE TESTIMONY OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS, IT KNOWS WHO YOU BELONG TO. THE BLOOD STILL SPEAKS!
