But perhaps the exact number isn’t the most important thing.
What matters is how consistently this message appears throughout Scripture.
When Abraham was uncertain, God said:
“Do not be afraid, Abram.” — Genesis 15:1
When Joshua faced an enormous responsibility:
“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
Through Isaiah, God declared:
“Fear not, for I am with you.” — Isaiah 41:10
When the shepherds saw the angel:
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news…” — Luke 2:10
And Jesus Himself told His disciples:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27
Maybe today you’re afraid too.
Afraid of losing someone you love.
Afraid of what tomorrow will bring.
Afraid because of your health, your family, your finances, your work, or a prayer that still seems unanswered.
Remember this:
God never promised that we would never face frightening situations. But again and again, Scripture reminds us that we don’t face them alone.

Whatever you’re facing today, hold on to your faith.
