DON'T CARRY HATRED IN YOUR HEART.
I don’t carry hatred in my heart—not because I haven’t been hurt, but because I’ve learned that pain multiplies when we pass it on.
The world already has enough cruelty; I don’t want to add to it.
When someone wrongs me, I remind myself: there is a higher order at work, one I don’t have to control.
Life has a way of balancing the scales in time.
What we put out into the world—our intentions, our actions, our choices—comes back to meet us eventually. I don’t need to seek revenge or wish harm.
I just need to trust that truth has its own timing, and justice wears many faces, even if it arrives silently.
So no, I won’t repay betrayal with bitterness or answer cruelty with cruelty.
I’ll step back, protect my peace, and let life take care of the rest. Because I believe in grace—but I also believe in karma.
And while I focus on healing, growing, and loving those who love me well, I trust that every act—good or bad—returns home.
Psalm 32, 1-5
¹ Blessed is he whose transgressions is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
² Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
³ When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long.
⁴ For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned into the drought of summer.
⁵ I acknowledge my sin to you, and my Iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and you forgive the iniquity of my sin.
In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
St Michael Archangel, defend us in battle.
Have a blessed day and weekend.
