I was born and raised in Deming, New Mexico and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico a vibrant city that has shaped much of who I am today. From a young age, I developed a passion for learning and exploration, which led me to pursue various interests throughout my life. As I grew older, I dedicated myself to personal and professional growth, always striving to make meaningful contributions in whatever I do.

Over the years, I've enjoyed connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures, enriching my perspective and broadening my horizons. My journey has been filled with both challenges and accomplishments, each experience helping me become the person I am now. Looking ahead, I remain committed to embracing new opportunities and continuing to grow every day. These days, I am a writer with many published works, including my series of high fantasy works called the Visigothic Saga, and a western series that I am working on.

For a more in-depth biography. I lost my father in 1974, at the age of ten, and my beloved mother raised me as best she could. She taught me the deep values of faith and early on, she inculcated within me a love for God, his Messiah, and the Jewish people. She sent me to a private Christian School from which I graduated in 1982. I chose to serve my country at that point, so I joined the Army as a Cavalry Scout. Growing up here in the west, I had always had a romantic view of the Cavalry, and so it was with them that I chose to serve. I was in the 9th Cavalry for a short tour, before being transferred overseas to Germany, to the Fulda Gap, in the Famous Blackhorse Regiment, the 11th Armored Cavalry. I was assigned, after about a year and a half, to Observation Post Alpha, near Rasdorf, Germany, along the now former East German Border. So, throughout the 1980s I was there and saw the end of the Cold War.

Getting out of the Army, I went to see a friend in Idaho, and chose to make a life there, raising a family. I have a son Joe and a daughter Tiffany and now two Granddaughters. Tiffany is married to a fine and upstanding and God-fearing man. During these years, we were active in the Vineyard Church, and were a Commander in the Royal Rangers, a Christian boy scouting organization, of which both of my kids and wife were involved. In 2002, disaster struck when my marriage fell apart and there was a divorce. After about two years, at an extremely low point in my life, I discovered Messianic Judaism, a form of Jewish Christianity, and began attending Beth Shalom Messianic Fellowship. This was the greatest turning point in my life. Within two years I was baptized in Lake Coeur d’Alene and was trained as a cantor. Serving the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) there was an experience of a lifetime.

However, in 2010, I returned to Carlsbad, due to the ailing condition of my mother aged 90. I returned home to help care for her and was able to spend the remaining three years of her life with her. It was during this time, that I attended Yesodey Messianic Yeshiva under the now late Rabbi David Hall, and was ordained as a Messianic Rabbi. But returning to my mother, as the scripture says, we must honor our parents. When she saw my ordination certificate, she told me how proud she was of me and that I was on the right path. She went to be with the Lord in 2013, and I have lived here ever since, having a good job and a successful writing hobby. God gave me a talent for writing, and it is my favorite pastime. In three of the pictures, I’m in my American Legion uniform, spurs with Army regulation cavalry slouch hat. As Chaplin for Post seven American Legion, Dept of New Mexico, Carlsbad New Mexico, I was giving the invocation two years ago for the 4th of July celebration at North Mesa Senior Center in Carlsbad New Mexico. You also see me here with the honour guard; in the other ones are the logo of my old regiment, and me in an 1871 era US cavalry uniform.
