The Quiet Watch
Long before dawn, while the world still slept, a company of Knights Templar gathered beneath the shadow of an ancient chapel. Their horses stood quietly, their cloaks stirred gently by the morning breeze, and their hearts were united in prayer.
Before a single step was taken, their Grand Commander spoke softly:
"Brothers, today we do not ride to seek honor for ourselves. We ride so that Christ may be seen through our deeds."
With those words, the Knights began their mission.

The roads were long, the sun was fierce, and every mile tested their endurance. Yet wherever they stopped, they left behind more than footprints. They offered food to the hungry, encouragement to the discouraged, and prayers to those whose faith had grown weak. They reminded every soul they encountered that God had not forgotten them.
As evening approached, the company reached a lonely hill overlooking the valley. The youngest Knight looked at the villages below and asked,
"Grand Sir, will anyone remember that we came here today?"
The elder Knight gazed toward the setting sun and replied,
"Perhaps they will forget our names, but if they remember the kindness of Christ because of what we have done, then our mission has fulfilled its purpose. The finest Knight is not the one who receives the loudest praise, but the one whose life quietly points others to the Savior."
The brothers removed their helmets, knelt upon the earth, and thanked the Almighty for another day of faithful service.
For a true Knight Templar knows that every mission begins with prayer, is sustained by faith, is guided by humility, and ends by giving all glory to God alone.
May we always wear the Cross with reverence, serve with compassion, stand firmly for truth, and carry the light of Christ wherever darkness remains.
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me." Psalm 28:7
