I recently moved back to the UK after living in Spain for twenty years. I am from Nottingham - Sherwood Forest area in the UK - loving the countryside whilst working as a construction Project Manager. I am a Christian. My father was a catholic from Irish roots - my mother Church of England C of E.
I started out in life in my family business as a steeplejack and subsequently moved around Europe working and enjoying the experience. Whilst in Spain I was forced to reevaluate my life due to the collapse of the construction industry - so I started writing novels. I was contacted by an editor/owner of a magazine called Female Focus to write a weekly column.
After that success I was invited to work full time as a journalist for a media company that ran six newspapers across mainland Spain and the islands. I was allowed to write what I wanted and subsequently was arrested three times because in Spain they introduced gag laws removing freedom of Speech - which people in America would be appalled at. I recently completed my MA in creative writing and I am working on two more novels.
