Hello, I’m Charles Ross, I go by either Charles or Charlie. I am 22 year old pilot living in the beautiful state of Oregon.
Originally from Arizona, I worked as a Corrections Officer after High School at Arizona State Prison Complex Eyman until I was 20 when I made the decision to pursue my passion in aviation. I currently study and fly at Hillsboro Aero Academy in Hillsboro, Oregon where I am working towards my commercial pilot’s license with an eventual goal of becoming an airline pilot.
I volunteer in my community as a member of the United States Civil Air Patrol where I serve as an Aerospace Education Officer, getting young cadets (mainly high school and middle school aged) into flying, aviation and STEM more in general. I also assist CAP as an aircraft mission observer during search and rescue.
Outside of school and CAP, I often spend my time with my lovely girlfriend Eva and my roommates. I'm also a fan of singing karaoke.
I am a Roman Catholic, and a big fan of history and global geopolitics.
I am beyond excited to meet and serve with the Templars in any way I can to not only help myself come closer to my faith in Christ but also to help live that faith by helping my community and the global community of Christendom.
I hope to meet and befriend my fellow members and learn as I go.
