My parents were devastated as I was. Somehow I managed to tell myself that my Eagle Award was no longer important in the context of my sister passing away. I thought that drawing attention to myself a that time was selfish and attention-seeking and basically finished out my time until turing 18 that October and let the opportunity slip away. At the time, I believed I was being mature.
How wrong I was. I should have completed my project and reached the goal I set so long ago; I should have dedicated it to her!
I learned that with age, one thinks differently- I gues you could call that wisdom.
Now it may be that you are possible the youngest member we have in the CAA Ranks, now and possibly ever! Even so, your decision to join an outfit such as this says a lot aout your character. I admire your decision, and your dedication.
So though you may be the youngest, possiblyt the youngest ever, that just means that you will be abvle to serve our Lord the longest.
